The voting for the Ludum Dare 19 competition is complete, and I have the results for you. The theme for this competition was “Discovery,” and the total number of entries, including the official competition and the jam, was a whopping 285! My game for the competition was Strange Lands, a turn-based strategy game where players discover the layout of randomly generated levels as they progress. The full voting results are available here. Here are the results from my game:

Out of 242 Competition Entries – Place (average rating):
Overall: Tied for 58th (2.94 / 5.00)
Innovation: Tied for 50th (3.19 / 5.00)
Fun: Tied for 58th (2.88 / 5.00)
Graphics: Tied for 91st (2.56 / 5.00)
Theme: 92nd (2.75 / 5.00)
Humor: 93rd (1.71 / 5.00)
Community: Tied for 55th (3.14 / 5.00)

I think I could have done a few things better, but I’m still pleased with my rankings, considering the sheer number of entries. As always, I’m looking forward to the next one!
