Terrain Tuesday #8
There was very little progress in front of the scenes to speak of this week. Fortunately for you, the users, I’ve put a limit on the number of states that can be placed on the undo stack at a time. Don’t worry, there will still be lots of history to cycle back through, but now the editor won’t become a memory black hole. Terrain textures now display on screen, so you know what you’ve got loaded in to work with.
Looking forward, I have at least a couple of things left that I want to try with the editor before I move on. Among them is a little dabbling in graphics effects, to make using it that much more fun. I also want to look into more automatic generation stuff, along the lines of erosion that I already added, but larger scale. I’ll write a bit more about this later on.
