Rebound is coming along nicely. Having enjoyed 2DBoy’s video showing how they made scenes, I thought I’d make a quick set of screenshots that show how the progress in level design for Rebound develops. Click each image for a large view. The first image is the original sketched layout (inverted, because it’s clearer and looks cool):
Then I start actual construction in the level editor, as seen in the following pictures:
The last picture is the finished product in-game, final to the extent that I don’t decide to make some polishing or gameplay tweaking changes later on. Maybe I’ll just throw in some surprises to throw people off. We’ll see.
